My alter-ego, Kathy Ann Trueman, has been hogging all our writing time for the past… well, let’s just say a long time. Since the last time she let me pick up the pen, she has written four books set in her world of the Vale. As much as I enjoy her fantasy stories, I’d really like to have my turn at the computer.

  • Edits for Saving Foxwood and on Harriet Wynter’s as-yet-untitled story.
  • Finish Sebastian Wynter’s story
  • Rewrite Her Perfect Knight – which is a fun story that both needs and deserves a rewrite.

I’m also going to do a “manual” for Regency stories, a place to gather the information I need to write them, all in one place. That will be a Herculean task, but it’s the kind of thing I like to do. Luckily.

My publisher has been having some problems, and recently, a major one – the site was hit with a DOS attack and hacked. My publisher has had to reconstruct the site. It’s been awful. One of the things that came out of it is that she will be switching all of us to the Kindle Direct Publishing model. Her stats say sales are best there. I’ll be sorry to lose any readers that have Nooks or Kobos, but nothing is perfect, and if it’ll improve sales, I’ll go along cheerfully. She’s treated me too well for me to complain.
