My Story
My First Mentor was an Oversized Bumble Bee..
I've been labeled by many as a "rule follower". Yep, I'm the one that follows the rules even when no one is looking! Perhaps that has something to do with this song stuck in my head from my first mentor on Romper Room, Mr. Do Bee!
"Do be a sidewalk player, don't be a street player, do be a car sitter, don't be a car stander, do be a plate cleaner, don't be a food fussy, do be a play safe, don't be a match toucher . . . I always do what's right, I never do anything wrong, I'm a Romper Room Do Bee, a Do Bee all day long."
Ok, truth be told, I think I REALLY need to give credit to my mom and dad as opposed to an oversized bumble bee for raising me to always be the person that does the right thing, even when no one is looking.

My First Entrepreneur Gig was in an Unfinished Basement in South Dakota...
As a young child, I noticed the kids in our neighborhood were bored and their mothers desperately wanted them out of the house.
As someone that loves coming up with solutions to problems, I created the "Kid's Club" where I offered a day full of games and learning opportunities for 5 cents a day!
I remember drawing with colored chalk on the walls and floors as I "taught" and serving graham crackers and kool-aid. I don't remember exactly how much I made, but our basement was filled to capacity and I had a waiting list. I landed a lot of babysitting jobs by upselling the happy moms in the neighborhood!

I Thought I'd "Finally" Made it.....
Fast forward several decades later, I discovered that my zone of genius was mastering complicated topics, breaking them down and making them easy for others to understand and implement.
I created a very lucrative training career working with multiple Fortune 500 Companies in the financial services industry. I was a young female, in an older male dominated industry. My schedule was booked all the time, and I was flying across the country delivering my message.
One day, as I sat in my fancy corner office, with my fancy car (parked in my front row parking spot with my name on it) as I was interviewed by Kiplinger's Personal Finance, I vividly recall thinking to myself that I had finally "made it."
But I was OH, SO Wrong...
Although I was making more money than I ever had before, I realized that it wasn't about the money anymore.
Although I was booked solid, I realized I had a cap on my income, because I had to turn away new training contracts. I had NO time to myself, and I was absolutely mentally and physically exhausted.
I was in my early 30's and my husband and I wanted to start a family soon.
What was I going to do? I had spent years perfecting my expertise and delivering my message and I didn't want to give that up, or the income I was generating. But most importantly, I refused to have someone else raise my children. I wanted to be at home with my family, just like my mom was.

I Was Determined to Raise a Family on My Terms
I was used to always finding solutions to problems. I always believe where there is a will, there is ALWAYS a way. There just had to be a way that I could continue sharing my message AND stay at home to raise my family and I was determined to figure it out.
After doing a lot of research I finally discovered the world of online learning. Unfortunately there were not a lot of resources available at the time on the topic. That didn't stop me because I was determined to figure out how to take what I had been teaching "offline" and deliver it "online".
In the meantime, my husband and I started our family and were blessed with Hannah and Jake. In between diaper duty and bedtime stories my husband and I found a programmer in India and spent over $60,000 to build out our first online learning platform. (This was back in the day before there were turn-key platforms like Kajabi.)
I spent many weekends hidden away in hotels while my husband took care of the kids while I worked on creating my online programs.
And then FINALLY...I finally did it!

I Gave Myself a Promotion to "Pretend Stay at Home Mom"...
I no longer had a cap on my income. I was no longer traveling across the country, exhausted. And, I could serve more people than I could ever do in person.
I ended up creating a very lucrative recurring income and built an online training company that served over 40,000 customers.
Selling what I knew online, was my saving grace! And, it can be YOURS too!

Now, I Help People Like Yourself do what I did!
We decided to sell our online training company in 2016 which required me to sign a non-compete clause and leave the industry I'd spent over 20 years in.
Too young to retire, and super excited about everything that I had learned I decided to help other seasoned professionals do exactly what I did! I knew NOTHING about creating online programs or selling online, and I figured it out, so I knew that others could too.
Now, I get to teach what I've done and continue to make a lucrative income, and even more important, an impact in the world.
Everyone I help is able to create a life they deserve and a business they love if they just do the work that I did.

Here are just a few of the Seasoned Professionals I've Been Able to Help
